Antonio
C. Castro
Tony served as an Assistant State Attorney in Miami-Dade
County beginning in 1993, conducting over forty jury trials and
teaching litigation skills to junior prosecutors. Tony is currently
of-counsel in the Miami office of Boies, Schiller & Flexner.
His main area of practice is civil litigation, emphasizing complex
commercial litigation and arbitration. Tony has also handled numerous
matters relating to forum non conveniens. Tony graduated from
Columbia College in 1990 and received his juris doctor degree
in 1993 from the Georgetown University Law Center. He is admitted
to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern
District of Florida, as well as all Florida state trial and appellate
courts. Tony is also an active member of the Cuban American Bar
Association and currently serves as president of that organization.

Raul
Chacon, President
 Raul
served as an Assistant State Attorney in Miami-Dade County from
1993-1996 conducting over fifty jury trials. Mr. Chacón
was involved in training junior prosecutors and was a guest speaker
at various conferences regarding criminal issues. Raúl
is a shareholder at the law firm of Houck Anderson, P.A. His
main area of practice is in admiralty/maritime litigation, with
an emphasis on marine and liability insurance. Other practice
areas include personal injury/wrongful death; products liability;
premises liability; commercial litigation; and employers liability,
including ADA and discrimination Mr. Chacón is a member
of the Florida Bar, and is admitted to the United States Court
of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the United States District
Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida and all
Florida state appellate and trial courts. His professional memberships
include Cuban American Bar Association (Director), American Bar
Association, Florida Defense Lawyers Association, Dade County
Bar Association, Dade County Defense Lawyers Association, Southeastern
Admiralty Law Institute, Fort Lauderdale Mariners Club and the
Miami Propeller Club. He received his J.D. from the University
of Miami School of Law.

Stephanie
Demos, Treasurer
Stephanie was an assistant state attorney in Miami-Dade County
from 1994-1998. She is currently a civil trial lawyer with the
law firm of Josephs, Jack, & Miranda. Stephanie is committed
to volunteer organizations that help needy women and children,
especially through her activities with The Junior League of South
Florida. She currently serves as that organization’s Vice
President for Community Outreach and previously served for three
years as Co-Chair of Inn Transition South, and was on the committee
for Inn Transition North, both shelters for abused women. Stephanie
also served as a Co-Chair of Project L.O.V.E. Her other community
activities include serving as a Board Member of Kristi House—an
organization that assists in the prosecution of child sex offenders—and
volunteering for Habitat for Humanity and Done in A Day. She also
serves as a pro bono lawyer for indigent and abused children through
Lawyers for Children America; that group awarded her the John
Edward Smith Child Advocacy Award in 2005. |

Ariana Fajardo
Ariana Fajardo is a partner with the firm of Orshan & Fajardo, P.A. She works exclusively in the area Family and Matrimonial Law. In addition to family law litigation, Ms. Fajardo handles appeals for the firm. Prior to joining the firm in 2003, Ms. Fajardo worked with the Miami Office of Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edelman & Dickers which is an international insurance defense litigation firm based in New York. Before working in the private sector, Ms. Fajardo was an Assistant State Attorney with the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office. Ms. Fajardo’s prosecutorial career earned her a position as an Adjunct Instructor with the National District Attorneys Association/National Advocacy Center and the United States Department of Justice, Criminal Division, Office of Overseas Prosecutorial Development. Ms. Fajardo has been instrumental in training young prosecutors through out this Country and through Central and Latin America on trial advocacy skills.

Ms. Fajardo graduated from the Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center in 1996 and from Florida International University in 1993. Ms. Fajardo has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1996 and a member of The Federal Bar, Southern District of Florida since 2002. |
