Chris Brown, Past President
Chris is a past President of the League of Prosecutors and served as a Miami-Dade County Prosecutor from 1994 to 1998. He is currently a partner with the law offices of Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edelman & Dicker, LLP where he concentrates in products liability, employment, commercial, and election law. He has an A/V rating from Martindale & Hubbell and has been recognized as a top litigator by Chambers USA and as a "Florida Super Lawyer" by Law & Politics Magazine.
Chris is a former adjunct professor of international law at Florida International University and speaks French, Russian and Spanish. Chris has tried numerous cases in both state and federal courts and has argued before the Supreme Court of Florida. He is a member of The Florida Bar and the American Bar Association and is admitted to practice in Florida, The District of Columbia, and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. He received his B.A. from Dartmouth College in 1986 and his Juris Doctor in 1994 from the University of Miami School of Law (cum laude) where he was a published member of the University of Miami Law Review. He also holds a Diplôme d'Études Superieures from the University of Geneva (1994) and an Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy (1995) from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
