Suzanne Brown-Vazquez

LOP Past President 2009-2010

 Suzie served as a Miami-Dade County Prosecutor from 1997 through 2001. After leaving the State Attorney’s Office, she joined the law firm of Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edelman & Dicker where she concentrated her practice in the areas of products liability, premises liability and maritime defense. In July of 2004, she accepted a staff counsel position with Carnival Cruise Lines and is currently the Director of Guest Claims and Litigation Counsel for Carnival’s Loss Prevention/ Maritime Legal Department.  Suzie is a member of the Florida Bar, Dade County Bar and the Dade County Defense Lawyers Association, and is admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and all Florida state appellate and trial courts. Suzie received a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Finance from Florida State University, College of Business. She received her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University in 1997. Suzie served as LOP President in the 2009-2010 term.
