Ariana Fajardo

President 2011-2012

Ariana Fajardo is a partner with the firm of Orshan & Fajardo, P.A.  She works exclusively in the area Family and Matrimonial Law.  In addition to family law litigation, Ms. Fajardo handles appeals for the firm.  Prior to joining the firm in 2003, Ms. Fajardo worked with the Miami Office of Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edelman & Dicker, an international insurance defense litigation firm based in New York.  Before working in the private sector, Ms. Fajardo was an Assistant State Attorney with the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office.  Ms. Fajardo’s prosecutorial career earned her a position as an Adjunct Instructor with the National District Attorneys Association/National Advocacy Center and the United States Department of Justice, Criminal Division, Office of Overseas Prosecutorial Development.  Ms. Fajardo has been instrumental in training young prosecutors throughout the United States and through Central and Latin America on trial advocacy skills.

Ms. Fajardo graduated from the Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center in 1996 and from Florida International University in 1993.  Ms. Fajardo has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1996 and a member of The Federal Bar, Southern District of Florida since 2002.
